The Henry Levy House has new owners!

As of about July 1, 2021, Eric Andrist and Jeff Rizzo will become the new owners of the Henry Levy House.

The two will be moving to Oxnard from the San Fernando Valley where they have lived together for 37 years, along with their friend and roommate, Curtis Thompson. They’ll also be bringing their 3 dogs, Gracie, Scout and Annie, and a slew of koi and goldfish for their new pond. You can read more about the dogs HERE.

Rizzo is a much loved musician, musical director and conductor in the world of musical theater and has traveled the country and the world conducting musicals including “The Wizard of Oz,” “Dreamgirls,” “Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat,” and “42nd Street.” He conducted the cast album of Madison Square Garden’s “The Wizard of Oz” starring Mickey Rooney and Eartha Kitt. His website can be seen at www.bandleaderjeff.com

Andrist started out in musical theater production, but gave it up to care for his elderly mother and disabled sister in 2001. His mother passed away 14 months later from medical errors and he began caring for his mentally challenged sister full time at that point. Unfortunately, she too died from medical errors in 2013. Since then, Andrist has been volunteering nearly full time as a patient safety advocate and co-runs a nonprofit called The Patient Safety League (www.4patientsafety.org). He also sidelines as a Notary Public among other things. His website is www.ericsproservices.com

Together the pair started a community choir called The Valley Villagers and during the pandemic produced 9 virtual choir videos which can be seen on YouTube at www.vvchoir.org/virtualvideos.

Curtis is the father of 4 from Texas, and currently works in design and sales at Crate and Barrel.

Eric & Jeff hope that they can share the Henry Levy House with the community and open it up for private rentals for weddings, quinceañeras, and other events.
