We wondered if moving into a 100+ year old house we’d find that it’s haunted. But, the first six months revealed nothing. Literally nothing. We’ve felt very welcome in the house the whole time.
Then on January 13, 2022, we had our first experience.
It was about 12:20 AM when I woke up to hear noise above me on the third floor. But right above isn’t the main room it’s a storage closet off to the side. We could hear very loud walking back and forth in hard-soled shoes and it sounded like they were scooting a box across the floor. It was very loud and lasted a good full minute. Then stopped. I just sat there frozen and didn’t think to grab my phone and record it. Next time I’ll be prepared.
