The Albert Guedemann House #1 (1918)
Built in 1928* for Albert Guedemann, Assistant Cashier at the Bank of A. Levy. This large two story Colonial Revival has a minimum high-pitched gable roof and narrow clapboard siding. Details include multi-paned windows with louvered shutters, an off-center door flanked by side lights and an arched portico entrance.
DISCREPANCIES: The original Historic District Documents list this house as built in 1928, but that’s impossible as newspaper accounts showed the original owners moved in in 1918. (See article below)

The Ventura County Assessor lists this house as being built in 1915. However, newspaper accounts show that the Guedemann’s moved in in 1918.
