Original Historic District Document Info: Built ~1915* for J.E. Shillington**. This cross gable, single story bungalow has triangular knee braces, exposed rafter tails and exposed roof beams as well as brick porch columns. Clapboard vinyl siding has been added.

**NOTE: This information from the original historic district documents is incorrect. According to a newspaper account, J.E. Shillington’s father, J.W. Shillington, bought this house from Ira Hoswell in June of 1912. Further, an article from 1940 shows that J. W. deeded the property to J.E. However, J. E. was living at this address as early as 1916 according to telephone directories. (see article below)
