Original Historic District Document Info: This property was purchased by Mrs. J.A. Driffill to be used as a poultry farm selling eggs. At some point it was sold to the City of Oxnard and the Brittell Elementary School was built which lasted until 1974. At that point it was purchased by St. John’s Hospital and then later by Sister Servants of Mary to build their convent, which is there today.
