PLEASE NOTE that currently we are not RENTING out the property for any kind of events (other than filming) but are exploring the possibility with the City. Unfortunately, City of Oxnard officials have not been at all welcoming and are saying that most events will not be allowed on the property since it sits in an R1 residential zone. This, even though they allow at least 2 churches that fall in the same zone to have events. Assistant City Attorney Kenneth Rozell (who apparently doesn’t even live in Oxnard), has not been very friendly and has even gone so far as forbidden us from contacting individual City departments to try and work this out.
