Executive Director—Eric Andrist

Eric Andrist is the founder and Executive Director of the Henry Levy House Arts & Heritage Center and the owner of the Henry Levy House (Ventura County Historic Landmark No. 74), a 1915 Craftsman home designed by architect Homer Glidden within the National Register-listed Henry T. Oxnard Historic District.
A public and patient safety advocate, Eric brings decades of experience in storytelling, advocacy, and community engagement to his work preserving and activating this landmark property. His background spans 20+ years in theater production, stage management, musical composition, and documentary media — all of which now inform the Center’s mission to bring arts programming and heritage education to Oxnard.
Eric has been a dedicated voice for historic preservation and civic accountability in Oxnard and Los Angeles, and he sees the Henry Levy House as both a living archive and a gathering place — a space where the past and the creative present meet.
