The Paul Hutchinson House (1915)
Built ~1924* for Millard F. Jones; owner of a tire shop. This is a modest, U- shaped bungalow that has a side clipped gable roof with a decorative shed vent.
NOTE: An article in the Oxnard Courier, September 26, 1919, seems to state that this house was built for Paul Hutchinson, President of the Hutchinson Motor Car Company (see article below). This can further be proven in the article from April 02, 1919 stating that he would build a house on the corner of G and Third. Census records from 1920 show Hutchinson living at that address.
*The Ventura County Assessor lists this house as being built in 1915.
